Avatrex Transportable Imaging Technology Rated 3 Star by RIT

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) has certified Avatrex Transportable Imaging Technology from LexJet for HP Indigo presses.

Avatrex Transportable Imaging Technology from LexJet has recently been certified by the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for use with HP Indigo presses. Avatrex 6500 Matte was certified and awarded a 3 Star rating by RIT for HP Indigo WS6000, WS6600, WS2000, WS4000, WS4600 and WS4050/4500 presses.

RIT’s test is among the most extensive in the printing industry, requiring a variety of challenging imaging and adhesion tests to be completed before successfully passing. The 3 Star rating is the highest possible rating.

Avatrex Transportable Imaging is a thin, multi-layer coating with built-in adhesive and protection properties that can be printed with a variety of print platforms and transported and conformed to practically any surface. Avatrex 6500 Matte was developed specifically for HP Indigo presses.

And, since Avatrex is manufactured with water-based chemistries, it is a sustainable material that has no VOCs and is PVC-free.
